My dad's DVD rentals have been consistently, not to mention surprisingly, good this past week: Milk, Slumdog Millionaire, Tell No One, Let the Right One In, and Happy-Go-Lucky. So, I watched Twilight yesterday because my dad rented it, just as I predicted he would. He only watched about 45 minutes of it, though, before he got bored and left. I sat through the whole thing, and ( ...it was not very good. )

It just occurred to me that when Twilight comes out on DVD, my dad will be the sole heterosexual adult male to watch it without the slightest trace of irony.
